THE INTERNATIONAL BONGO-BONGO BRIGADE MANIFESTO
1. Bongo-Bongo is having a bicycle with wooden wheels carved with a penknife, and going for a ride on it.
2. Bongo-Bongo is walking with your ears upside-down.
3. Bongo-Bongo is smoking without a cigarette and sending the smoke out uninterruptedly to infinity.
4. Bongo-Bongo is walking through the forest without avoiding the trees.
5. Bongo-Bongo is washing your hair with soil.
6. Bongo-Bongo is digging some tunnels with your hands, tunnels with entrances, which, in truth, are the exits.
7. Bongo-Bongo is the flying snail.
8. Bongo-Bongo is hands turned into feet.
9. Bongo-Bongo is the left hand become right and the right less right – and the same goes for the feet: the body a twirling spiral.
10. Bongo-Bongo is more central than the centre.
11. Bongo-Bongo is more peripheral than the periphery.
12. Bongo-Bongo is a celebration of fugacity amidst the Celebration of Victory.
13. Bongo-Bongo is the opposite of Bunga-Bunga, par excellence.
14. Bongo-Bongo is giving birth to mother.
15. Bongo-Bongo is the figure without the image.
16. Bongo-Bongo is the dyslexia of form.
17. Bongo-Bongo is against.
18. Bongo-Bongo is for.
19. Bongo-Bongo is absolute affirmation.
20. Bongo-Bongo is total total art
21. Bongo-Bongo is body in soul in a body and soul, and indvisibly a single body which is soul.
22. Bongo-Bongo is the bonus given to the people to pay themselves a bacchanal.
23. Bongo-Bongo is the bottle of water which inebriates, because you are the Inebriation. You make the water drunk and water staggers away on all fours.
24. Bongo-Bongo is total Inebriation.
25. Bongo-Bongo is resurrection without death.
26. Bongo-Bongo is a sculpture hewn by teeth from a spear, which is a broom.
27. Bongo-Bongo is a slave-avenging broccoli, never working and refreshing his weary wanderer’s feet in the cool river of his own freshness.
28. Oh, my friend! Do you care to know what Bongo can be? Come and tell me about it in my afternoon rest. Sit down, drink with me. Tea is ready.
