Supporting readers’ Literacy - Comenius’ National pedagogical libray – Institute for information on education
The exhibition introduces projects of the National pedagogical library of Johan Amos Comenius (division of IIE) which support reader’s literacy:
Everybody reads
I‘m already a reader – Book for schoolchild
Centre for school libraries
Bookmark bonds schools – event on the occasion of International School Library Month
We live on one planet – literary competition for secondary school students
The biggest space will be given to the survey among children readers „Everybody reads“, which was organized in 1993 for the first time. Every year, about 4 thousand children from the whole Czech Republic answer the survey, whose main organizer is Children‘s libraries club. Therefore, the exhibition partly maps the development of reader’s preferences in the past twenty years. You might find an inspiration for your children’s reading list and maybe even a memory of your favourite book.
